The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Campus
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Possibly my most favorite place to ride my bike to is the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh campus. It's
really unlike anywhere else in Oshkosh, yet the buildings there are probably the city's most recognizable.
These photos were taken throughout the summer of 2004. Please keep in mind that these scans [from 4x6 prints]
are also from around that time---my photo post-production and prep capabilities weren't as good then as they are now.

One of the most recognizable buildings on campus [and in all of
Oshkosh] is
Reeve Memorial Union.
It's quite easy to spot, with its large glass structure [seen in the bottom picture].
Among the numerous things based here are a large indoor cafe, a number of stores and services,
meeting rooms, the Steinhilber Art Gallery, and the offices of the
Advance-Titan.
Next door to Reeve is Albee Hall. Inside,
there is a gymnasium,
pool, weight room, and several offices and classrooms.
Down the road from Albee Hall is Dempsey Hall. This is the university's main office.
Swart Hall is where some of the Math, Economics, and Sociology classes are held.
The Fredric March Theatre is where most of the university's
performances take place. This building
also houses the facilities of campus TV station Titan TV.
The Arts and Communications Center houses most of the organizations not
found in the March Theatre
building [technically called the AC West Building], such as the Priebe Art Gallery and radio station WRST.
It is also the home of the UWO Music Hall.
Being the architecture lover that I am, I just had to include this one. Sadly, I know very little about this.
