Harbor Centre, Deland Park, and Lake Michigan
Sheboygan, Wisconsin
Photos taken July 19, 2008. I initially planned on posting new photos, but they're not as good as these were.

Many boats are docked at the lake, next to the Harbor Centre building.
Deland Park beach. I had just gotten done checking out the local art fair when I took this, and was pretty warm as a result--I wanted to jump in there.
Time to start walking.......
Apparently, this is a time honored Wisconsin tradition---using old beer bottles, wrapping your fishing line around the neck,
and hoping the bottle tips over. I talked to one of the people out there, and he explained how people from Michigan
think we're weird for doing this. I can't help but think that the rod would get pulled into the water.
After a nice walk, I finally got to the lighthouse....
This survey marker is located just feet away from the lighthouse.
After standing out there for a while, it was time to walk all the way back.....
I love how the mist in the air made it look like the pier cut off midway. Although with how hot it was, I'd have
loved to swim back to shore. Too bad I can't swim at all--and especially not with the camera!!
