Green Bay Botanical Garden
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Since opening in 1996, Green Bay Botanical Garden has quickly become one of Wisconsin's horticultural treasures. At 47 acres---17 of which have
been developed into garden area---it is also one of the largest public gardens in the state.

This photo page is a work in progress. I have made many visits over the past 2 years, and will likely make more as time goes on.

The entrance to the garden provides visitors with a good preview of what they're about to see.

The visitor center is not only the first place you go when visiting, but it also boasts the garden's offices, meeting areas, and a gift shop.

The West Terrace
-----------------------------------

This lounge area is just outside the visitor center, upon entering the main garden area.
Note the chairs' resemblance to the legendary UW Memorial Union Terrace chairs.

Just near the terrace, this walkway provides a quick entrance to the garden.

Memorial Grove
---------------------------
The centerpiece of the Memorial Grove is a large, infinity symbol-shaped metal ribbon sculpture.

Gertrude B. Nielsen Children's Garden
--------------------------------------------------------------
The Children's Garden is a colorful area which not only proves to be fun for the kids, but for some adults as well. Some of its
features include a slide, maze, sundial, and ponds.

This frog sculpture, designed by local artist Gisela Magdalena-Moyer, welcomes visitors to the Wetting Zoo. Yes, that's really what it's called!

This arbor covers the Betty Meyer Bridge, which connects the Children's Garden to the rest of the gardens.
